Writing Development
Writing Development is available to all students and includes
the following:
- Workshops
- Short Writing Courses
- Individual and small group tutorials.
It is available to help you to improve your
academic writing, whether you have identified a particular problem
or if you want to further develop your writing.
Effective writing not only allows you to
express your ideas clearly, it is also an essential part of your
thinking process, helping you to organise your thoughts and
formulate arguments. It is important to recognise that different
academic subjects and disciplines require different types of
writing.
Having the ability to write effectively will
give you an advantage both at University and beyond.
