Joint Honours

Girl at PCStudy two subjects you love

As a Joint Honours student, you will:

Study two specialist subjects in depth

You will study the same amount as Specialist Honours students (every degree is 360 credits), and to the same high standard. You will be studying two subjects that you love or that you want to explore, instead of just one.

Widen your career options

As you are studying two subjects on your degree, you are potentially doubling your career opportunities in the future.

Impress employers

You will undertake workplace learning halfway through your degree and you will gain a wide knowledge of two subjects, thus improving your employability.

Learn languages

You will have the opportunity to develop new language skills or develop the ones you already have if you wish. Languages include Arabic, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish and British Sign Language. These will be useful if you decide to study abroad as part of your degree.

Study abroad

This fantastic opportunity is available as part of your degree – in Europe, Asia, USA and Canada and many other places around the world. Imagine studying one or both of your subjects in another country.

Which subjects can I study?
