Final Year Results
Module results will be
available on e:Vision when they are
inputted by your tutor. The marks shown will not be formally
‘agreed’ until after the meeting of your Faculty’s Assessment
Panel, and therefore are subject to change before then. If you have
any queries about the results shown please contact your Faculty
office. Results will be confirmed in writing after the meeting of
the University’s Board of Examiners for Progress and Award on
Thursday 8 July 2010. Please do not contact Registry about module
results before then.
Award results will be published on e:Vision from
Friday 9 July 2010, following the meeting of the Board of
Examiners. Please do not telephone Registry for information about
your award before then. Information on how your award is calculated
can be found
here. We will send award letters to your home address
immediately after the Board. Please ensure your home address is
kept up-to-date on e:Vision, so that this letter can reach you
promptly.
Remember, to guarantee graduation ceremony tickets
for both you and your guests you will need to respond to your
graduation invitation. This is done via e:Vision, but if you want
further information it can be found
here.
York St John Chaplain to take up new post in
Sheffield
After 11 years as Chaplain, the Revd Jeremy Clines will be
leaving York St John University to take up the position of Anglican
Chaplain of the University of Sheffield. Jem has worked with
students and staff of the University and with the local faith
communities since 1999. Over this time he has provided great
support and demonstrated huge commitment to the York St John
community and he will be much missed. Jem's last day at York St
John will be 31 August.
Vice Chancellor, Professor David Fleming and everyone at York St
John would like to wish him and his family the very best
for the future.

Important Student Finance Information
Returning students can now apply online for their
academic year 2010/11 student finance. To apply you need
to:
- Login using your Customer Reference Number, secret answer
and internet password at www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance
- Select the ‘Apply for student finance’ option under the 2010/11
academic year at the bottom of the screen.
N.B. If you have lost or forgotten any of your
login details you can use the ‘Find out your login details’
option.
New students can also apply online, by
registering and logging into the secure online service.
Tuition fees for 2010/11 are as
follows:
- Year 1: £3,290
- Year 2: £3,290
- Year 3: £3,290
- Year 4: £2,745
Foundation Degree fees:
- Year 1: £3,290 (With the exception of FD in Supported
Learning & FD in Working with Children & Young
People. Course fee remains £1,310 for these two
programmes)
- Year 2 (Pre 2010 start) : £1,310
Recycling
bank on campus
Do you have unwanted clothing, shoes or
textiles you would like to offload? A reminder that there is a
Clothing and Shoe recycling bank (yellow) situated around the back
of the Design block. Funds raised from unwanted items go to the
Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity http://www.yorkshireairambulance.org.uk/
