RCOMH has been set up in direct response to the challenges to researchers in ‘Recovering Ordinary Lives’ (COT 2006). The strategy for occupational therapy in mental health services 2007–2017, a vision for the next ten years.
The Recovering Ordinary Lives (pdf) strategy aims to reassert the occupational therapy profession’s belief that occupation is core to health and wellbeing, and create a strategic vision for the future of occupational therapy services in mental health across the UK.
