The pie chart below shows the work and study options
of 2009 graduates from York St John University. This data is
based on the Destinations of Leavers in Higher Education
(DLHE) Survey of York St John University graduates six
months after graduation (up to 12 January 2009) and only
includes information from those who replied.

Graduate
destinations are divided into the following categories: those who
entered employment (part-time, full-time, voluntary); those who
went on to further study; those who were both working and studying;
those who were not available for work or study (e.g. through
illness, travelling abroad, retirement, looking after dependants or
pregnancy); and those who were seeking work or study opportunities
within six months of graduation.
Key:
Category F: Assumed to be unemployed. This
category relates to graduates answering yes to questions asking if
they were due to start a job after the survey date (12th January
2010) or if they were unemployed but looking for employment,
further study or training.
Category G: Not available for employment.
This category relates to graduates who were permanently unable to
work/retired, temporarily sick or unable to work/looking after the
home or family or taking time out in order to travel.
Other: This category relates to question not
answered.
